EBIFour.com Training Clarify QRGs FlatFiles Schemas - Applying UnorderedAfterStart
FlatFiles Schemas - Applying UnorderedAfterStart
11th July 2019
Background
OrderedAfterStart (and UnorderedAfterStart) describes how Cleo Clarify will will process flat file schema records after a Record Group starts. The records may be absent, they can’t appear out of this order when OrderedAfterStart is applied
UnorderedAfterStart
Example
In the example above, the Record EDdiDc40Group multiple records, starting with EdiDc40 and ending with E2edk17. If your inbound data does not match the order as defined, then transformation errors will occur.
UnorderedAfterStart Fix
To allow records, after
EdiDc40, to come in a random order, we will apply
UnorderedAfterStart to the
EDdiDc40Group
