PostgreSQL : Determine ACK Status Code from Outbound EDI Transaction

15th August 2017

Users are able to query the PostgreSQL tables to determine the Functional Acknowledgement (997) status of an outbound document.

When users goto the Postgre table: GROUPED_MESSAGE_LOG they will see ACK_STATUS values such as: 5377, 5382, and 5384

Below is a cross reference table for these values:

5377 – No Acknowledgement Required
5378 – Acknowledgement Pending
5379 – Acknowledgement in process
5380 – Acknowledgement processed
5381 – Acknowledgement sent
5382 – No Acknowledgement Received
5383 – Accepted with errors
5384 – Accepted
5385 – Partially Accepted
5386 – Rejected
5387 – Acknowledgement generated
5388 – Acknowledged at a higher level

For users unsure of accessing the internal PostgreSQL tables, we discussed access to the internal PostgreSQL database tables.
